The first-look poster of Gautham Karthik's upcoming movie, "Rangoon", is released. The poster introduces Gautham, who is clad in lungi and gives an intense stare.
The shooting of the film has also begun on Thursday and is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who had assisted ace film-maker AR Murugadoss in "7am Arivu" and "Thuppakki". The news of the shooting was disclosed by the director on his Twitter page.
"Thanks 2 my Guru, Producer @ARMurugadoss sir. Shoot begins with @Gautham_Karthik & key cast,mrng.Need al ur blessings!" tweeted Rajkumar.
AR Murugadoss, who is the producer of the film, shared news about the directorial venture by his former assistant. He had previously produced films like "Engeyum Eppothum" (2011), "Vattikuchi"(2013), "Raja Rani" (2013), "Maan Karate" (2013) and "10 Enradhukulla" (yet to be released).
